Hi guys, I'm from Istanbul and I've just ordered a Bravo 1.6 Multijet for my wife. It's a suprise so she won't find out until I take delivery of the car next week, drive home and ask her to come out ;) I was looking for a Scenic or C-max when I came across Bravo and the deal was quite good so I just bought it. This is our first Fiat and I hope it won't disappoint.

Thanks guys. I'm sure she'll take care of it, it's the two little monsters that I'm worried about :D

Dealer told me the car will be ready on wednesday so I have to keep my mouth shut until then.

I took delivery of the car yesterday and wife was very happy about her present. The color of the car is called universe beige here. It's like a gunmetal grey with a hint of sand/brown color in it.

I went for a longer drive then the 10 min dealer test drive that I did around the block. My initial impressions are:

- There is some sort of noise coming from the back which sounds like the fuel is shaking in the fuel tank after I filled it up. Might be related to lack of insulation around the fuel tank. I remember my friend complaining about this problem in one of his company cars, focus or corolla I can't remember.

- The engine noise is also higher then I expected again it is probably related to insulation but kind of sounds like a loud exhaust in the area after the turbo.

- Steering is very light and doesn't give enough feedback but I knew this already from my test drive.

- 1.6 mjet 105hp engine is quite lively. It came with stock 15" wheels and I planned to upgrade to 17s or 18s but now I'm not sure because I don't want to kill the lively and zippy feel of the car with adding weight.

- When I switch the car off the radio stays on, in the manual it says press on of the < > buttons to switch AUTO mode OFF, I tried but no luck (it changes the radio station when I press those) but it was late so I have to fiddle around with it later.

Overall we are happy so far. I bought it as wife's economical everyday car so I don't have high expectations which means I'm less likely to be disappointed unless it beats my Citroen C5 in crappiness!

If memory serves well, you need to hold the Menu button on the radio itself, then use the < > to find the necessary option, and the volume wheel to change it.

Thanks for the help, I tried it tonight and it worked (y) Now I just have to figure out how to adjust the clock on the radio. I tried the volume button, < > buttons and 1,2,3,4,5,6 channel buttons and no luck. I had a quick look in the manual but clock adjustment didn't catch my eye maybe it's in the car manual not the stereo manual.

I don't know which one is worse, C5 or Citroen Services

I don't think you have a clock on the radio display. I don't have - the clock is only on the front dash. It can be set (as well as all other options) by brief pressing of the Menu button and scrolling through the options with up/down arrows...

Yes the clock is on the front dash but the other day when I tried to fix the AUTO function like you have suggested and held down the MENU button the first thing that came was CLOCK (which made me think you can also change the clock through the radio or radio has it's own clock) and when I pressed MENU again then it moved on to functions like AUTO, RADIO BEEP etc. But anyway it's no big deal, thanks again for the help with AUTO function.
