General jumping and pinking fixed (8v)

Hello,

My punto 8v was jumpy when slowing in 2nd gear at low speed, and when driving with open windows near parked cars or close to walls heard some pinking noise (only when engine hot).

Last week I replaced the plugs even though the old ones looked ok and since then no more pinking or jumping. I think it's all fixed.

Were the plugs the same spec'? A too "soft" plug can cause pinking as it runs hotter than the engine is expecting.

same spec but the gap was a little bigger on the old ones. 0.9 feeler was a bit loose .... Could this be the reason?
