have problem with ducato 2.3 09 plate new egr valve fitted 6 months ago can travell 6/8 miles then juddering starts as if fuel not going through system have a system flushed but sill the same problem

Hi I seem to have the same problem, did you manage to get the juddering sorted? I noticed no one came back to you.

Have you both had your vehicles read if so where any codes logged ?

The Fiat dealer said Fiat had diagnosed a faulty no 4 injector, it's been repaired and replaced. Taken for test drive and given the OK. I picked it up at 5 last night (12th Dec) and by 5.40 the juddering had reappeared and the management light back on! Total of 9 miles. They have had my motorhome since 2nd December. Bill £331, they want it back on Monday. Dealer keeps blaming Fiat computer, supposed to have crashed, remotely put right by Fiat IT. Originally had it checked by friend whose garage computer diagnosed it as "exhaust sensor". Garage in Sandy that has this year replaced Timing belt, serviced it and replaced brake pads all round reckoned it was throttle attenuator and as he wasn't Fiat he said I should take it to main dealer as he didn't have correct diagnostic tools. So I did. Someone has suggested Winns Injector Cleaning Fluid in diesel? It's done 66000 Nov 56 plate miles and up till this year really hasn't cost me anything but service each year, so quite lucky.:)

Who's diesel are you using? (Supermarket or BP/shell)

A few guys myself included have had issues with EGR/Throttle body and running rough, from supermarket diesel as it seems it's high in sulphur and clogs up injectors and moving bits,
Since I found this out back in 09 on my old 57 year 2.3, I've used BP or Shell all the time, no more issues,

Well as the fiat dealer has effectively failed to rectify the fault at the very least they should rescan it and give you a print out on Monday , you can then make a decision from there , if you do this can you post the codes up ( numbers and descriptions ) and will see if can help you out from there :)
