Hadn't thought much about strut braces. I'll see how I get on with the springs and wheels first. Not sure that I want the car hard enough to need a trut brace (it is my day to day car and I like my luxuries ).

I think yours looks OK on 16s, given that I'm not sure it needs 17s to look good. I need to do some tyre pricing investigation, 205/55R16s may be cheaper than the 225s but then again...

GET the strut brace you won't believe the difference! Try www.rochfordtyres.co.uk for 17's they have some really good deals starting from £400 (with tyres) upwards.

They seem to think that 4x100 will fit. Sure the Stilo needs 4x98 or does the 2mm not make any difference???

I'll look at strut braces when the tyres/wheels are sorted.

Found a picture of a 5 door Stilo, drak red like mine with 16" Coupes. Loaded up Photoshop and fiddled with things until I got a vague idea of what black wheel might look like.

Thanks to whoever actually owns the car - sorry I nicked your picture shout if you want and I'll remove it.

I think those ones are the later ones. The other style definitely come in both 15 and 16...

The later ones are perhaps nicer though.
