its a plan ;p , if your going limegreen , id tint the rear lights and paint your frount calipers lime green also, and erm i dno maby like a little scorpian decal for your bonnit in lime green, would look sexy.:devil:

tinted rear lights is defo not for me,and calipers are all ready lime green bud and sorry but that scorpion idea is not for me either haha.

ive just come across a big problem though,went outside to measure the pcd of the wheels as i only just realised that the could be wrong and to my shock they are 4x110 FML:bang: so that was a waste of 50 knicker,unless there is a way around this??

wobbly bots is what i think u need, i had the same problem with my black 1s b4 i changed to white, i have 16 but id want sumin in return, i think there like 25 quid brand new maby

its not gunna work mate,wobblys only work to 2mm this is a 12mm difference,my whole project is on hold now because of this,has really annoyed me that i could be so stupid:bang:

sheeeeeit , well whats wrong with the ones you have on man, im sure sum1 will buy the ones that dont fit on ebay buddy dont get 2 down, just spray the 1s u have on matt black or sumin mate, give them a good sand with 200 grade then 800 grey primer then matt black from halfords

bang on some lime green bolts and ur buzzin, dont let it put you on hold , where abouts are u from btw? anywhere near leeds?

haha yeah im just outa london to be precise, and yeah i would refurb these if i wasnt so obsessed with lowering lol,i want a 50mm drop so bad its unreal,so im thinking of going scrap yard this weekend and having a look for some sporting alloys and some mk2b lights

dude, not cool. it will obviously be slammed at 50mm. 20mm... 35 at a BIG push, u might get away with that, but ur well and truely prison raped if they notice it, just cos the springs aint day glow like normal lowered springs etc, it will still be easy as day to see its lowered, specially at 50mm. if u cant get insured, there is a reason for it. (even though most of the reasons are dumb, its people that done this invalidating the insurance that causes the premiums to be so high in the 1st place)
best thing to do if u cant slam it is wait it out until u can. may not make ur car look as good, but at least u wont be one of them tools out there who seem intent on making us all pay ridiculous premiums.

New wheels zomg!!!

Right guys i just won myself a little bargain on ebay, this being what are supposadly bbs alloys,they have bbs centre caps but im not convinced,either way they are a size and pcd that will fit my car and i will be a ble to lower with them when i get them i will get a photo up of them but for now i will just post up a photo of the ones on the ebay sale screen..

dont be fooled by the colour of them now,im either gunna go fully gloss black or just your average silver alloy colour

thanks alot mate,do you think they are genuine bbs?? they came of a golf so i do hope so

and yeah i was thinking that its just im refurbing them myself so it would be easier to do one colour but i would be tempted to give it a go,i just wouldnt be able to get a polished lipe finish i dunno how lol

i dont think they are genuine bbs alloys, they dont look like any ive ever seen before but they will look pretty good on your car i think.
I think black with a polished lip would look good aswell

its hard to say really lol best thing you can do is check for stamps or markings when you get them i guess but they still look the part i think and even more so when theyve been cleaned and freshened up. maybe all black i rekon black on black, i looove it! and lime green nuts sounds ace go for it mate
