General Iv'e done it! I finally ordered one!

After 4 months of lurking on here and seeing everyone elses 500's, I went into Harwoods Fiat yesterday and ordered my own!

Final Spec:

1.2 Sport, Bossa Nova White, Black-Cloth/Black Ambience, Auto Climate Control, 50/50 Split Rear Seats, ESP, 16" Multispoke Alloy Wheels, Side Rubbing Strip with 500 Logo, Chrome Kit, Reverse Parking Sensors.

Im in two minds whether to go back and add the italian flag wing badges though!

Due early December!

Congratulations, sounds good. I'm very happy with the climate control option, it works well (basically set it and forget it) looks clean and simple and the single button to de-mist all round is great on damp mornings.

Well done, the wait is only 2 months but trust me it will feel like 2 years

why travel so far? I had mine from Griffin Mill in Treforest and they have been brilliant with me.

Nice spec.
The wait will be torture but you cant have everything.
I got the Italian wing badges off ebay for a good bit less and apparently they are easy to fit (will let you know when I put them on my car).

ooo congrats - when i ordered it in june i wasn't expecting before November (funk white) but it surprised me and turned up ready for 1st Sept plates.

I got the Italian wing badges off ebay for a good bit less and apparently they are easy to fit (will let you know when I put them on my car).

I tried to get the dealer to include them but ended up buying them (at a good discount) since the dealer had already thrown in floor mats, boot liner, key fob and a scale model!

They're easy to fit you need a couple of dry days - or a garage - the instructions advise not to get them wet for 48 hours.

I went back yesterday and added the wing badges to my order

I'm on the island several times a month. I tried 3 dealers in the Cardiff area. One was very helpful but got very pushy when it came to the sale, and wasn't prepared to offer a decent deal. The second didn't really seem interested in selling a fiat, he wanted me to have a Citroen instead! The 3rd I've had bad experiences with before. Tim at Harwoods was very helpful from the start, offered me a great deal without me having to argue, and he let me test the car right there and then.

Sounds like a great dealer, wish i was nearer, bit far to travel from notts! Im hoping to be taking the plunge end of Oct, but im still in a quandry as to which dealer to look at. Nearest one to me is stoneacres and when ive been in a time or 2 they seem disinterested.Next nearest is Autoworld in chesterfield, used to have my previous fiats serviced there but ended up complaining about them to fiat as it took them 12 months to fit a new part in the AC on my stilo. want to try to negotiate some extras like lots of people on here and i go with that intention but i always feel like I should just bend over and take it when the time comes!
