Technical Update sound system 2016 Fiat 500-has anyone done it?

Morning all!

I’d like to pick your brains again. Please see attached photos of the sound system in my car at present (Fiat500 2016), and a couple of some I’ve seen on eBay. Main reason for considering change is that current one doesn’t have sat nav. Mine is the first photo.

I rang a local Fiat dealer to enquire pricing, and was told it’d be around £5000!

Please advise, as to whether it’s something I could do? Cheers, Helen

Hello. I'm also interested on replacing my radio in my 2018 Fiat500. Mine is the smaller screen radio with buttons (see image)

Yes, my link to the cheaper option above but that's for a pre-facelift. I have fitted cheap one like the one you're looking at and also an Xtrons. The Xtrons is far superior but more than double the price. I ended up buying one myself for my Abarth as it's my car, I wanted something better. Link incoming for both videos so you can make an informed decision.

All of the AliExpress ones work out of the box and come with the correct harness and can bus box. They are most likely talking about whether you have the Interscope system with the sub under the seat. Even those, with the supplied harness with some manual wiring will work but if you have the standard stereo then it should work. I would be a bit dubious about an ebay ad that says it may not.
