A 3.5l calibra engine? I thought they only did a maximum of a 2.5 V6 in NA form and dont recall a calibra turbo unless they used the 2.0 16v turbo out the cavalier.

Either way...........WHY?

Re: Re: It might be a NOVA, but you have got to admire the guy

Yeah... 2.5 V6 was the max engine in the Calibra. I used to know a bloke with the Vauxhall Motorsport Ltd Edition which was the 2.5 bored to 2.8 Turbo 4x4 and that engine bay was Full.

I remember the guy who did a Golf with 2 VR6 engines, one in the front, one in the back and two gearsticks and gearlevers. You started the front engine and set off then connected the two gearlevers together with a bar and bump started the rear engine... nice and a car worth doing it to LOL !

In last months Lax power they had the 2 engined golf against a bog standard suzuki GSXR1000. The race was a 1/4 mile and the bike had to do it on it's back wheel.
Motorcycle News ran the story and said the Bike wone 2-1 and Lax power said it was a draw !!

Gotta say though the Golf was impressive, 0-60 in a nadgers over 3 seconds. It's number plate is B16 DUB.

I do admire people who go through all the engineering difficulties in doing the 2 engine thang to cars and bikes, but also I have to say why? Ultimately it's a complete waste of money cos they will never recoup their investment. It's one of the reasons that I have left my HGT standard.

a thought it was 2 2.0l lumps in the nova?
