Why was ISO connections invented and used when it seems every other manufacturer in the world uses them and wires their stereos to suit..... EXCEPT FIAT!!! :bang:
I have just bought a new Pioneer F900BT for my Bravo and have spent all afternoon trying to get it to work :bang:
I have connected it all up using the ISO connections but nothing. The headunit won't turn on or anything.
I've had a look at the Fiat ISO and half the wires don't match up with the Pioneers ISO connector (wires on the Pioneer connection meet up with blank spaces on the Fiat connector in particular the Yellow '+ Battery' cable on the pioneer block meets nothing on the Fiat side) so now I have no idea what to do.
Obviously the best way is to rewire the Pioneer block to suit the Fiat's block but just now I have no idea what wire does what on the Fiat block.
Any ideas??
I am currently trawling the net trying to find a wiring diagram for the new Bravo!!
Every other car I have had it's been a cse of plugging in the unit and away it went. Not fiat though. They have to be weird and different... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
