Tuning isn't that awesome?

i think you didn't make it to 33rd second :)

You know what?

You're right!

On or about the 10 second mark, I realised I was looking at the chavved up arse of a 500 in the vilest colour ever to (dis)grace a car and I thought to myself 'must invoice Durukan for wasted time'.

This was closely following by the slightly more probing but ultimately unsettling thought that I'm 34 years old, browsing a web forum and within the rich multiverse of thread choices, the one that drew me in was the exhaust one. I don't even need an exhaust. What the hell is wrong with me?

To consider this deeply existential concern I moved myself to the kitchen and discovered to my dismay that the cupboard was largely bare. I had to eat an apple. An apple. What kind of life is this? Honestly. An exhaust and an apple. This is how it went.

If you read all of that, there, we're even. Consider the invoice paid in full.

:D

well, you didn't have to cry like a bitch. it's obviously different from the stock one, and i really thought you didn't watch the whole video. there's no point in acting like a smartass since i had good intentions while i was posting that. i'm not a big fan of tunning, too but i really liked its sound and wanted to share something like that once in a while. don't waste more time on that, go fit your car another lsd or something.

This may be the same exhaust now being offered through Abarth dealers.

Saw and heard one on a demo model - £900 seemed to be a price I remember being mentioned!!

You missed the :D at the end of my post.

Guys, this exhaust is illegal for street use (unless your country permits straight through exhausts).

SS500A is a back box where as SS500C is a straight pipe. Marked on the brochure at Magneti Marelli, under the SS500C it says "Not For Street Use".

it is unfortunately :( i wonder how ferraris and such get permision to have loud exhausts?

It's way too loud for a street car anyway, I prefer something that sounds a bit less harsh and in your face!

Something like this;

once were on the subject, I'am considering the Marelli for my stock 500 1.4 sport. Question is i wanted to do it in sequence so the car doesnt get too loud. Should I go for the center pipe, with the original exhaust, or with the marelli exhaust, and the original center pipe??
by the way this is my favorite, although I dont know if i could deal with it on a day to day bassis.
