i know the 8v has been done, just not sure if the 16v is possible.

Ideally you need the gearbox too: that way you'll be sure to get the clutch and flywheel with it. Folk have picked up engine and gearbox for 350 quid or so. More or less same engine in Stilo 1.4 16v and 500.
