General Is the 500 too girly ??

I had a yellow seicento sporting and my hubbie hated to have to borrow it.

When we went to order the 500 he wanted funk white, i wanted green or funk white. We went with funk white .... he says he is more than happy to borrow it as he won't look like a wally like he said he did in the yellow.

Nowt wrong with Broom Yellow, its one of the best Fiat colours

I had a Broom Yellow MK1 Sporting deffo my fav colour out of all the cars I've owned (even the 500), I had a GT too, it was a boring Silver though, loved it....when it worked!! Then again it had 90k on the clock and hadn't been looked after, nevermind. I do miss not having a Turbo though. Gettin' my name down for an Abarth 500, prob go for the Esseesse (SS) 160bhp sounds too good to resist and it'll make the 500 even more fun

Mate - Its very small and very girly
Mates Girlfriend - eww its ugly

Not what I'd hoped for and I didn't expect the last comment especially as I had a Black Seicento for two years which they thought was great.

I'd just finished work and was heading up the dual carriageway out of Bradford, and stopped at the traffic lights. I'd noticed this biker in my rear view and door mirrors. I saw him looking at my 500. He then pulled up beside me, lifted up his visor and motioned for me to wind down my window, which I did. He then started raving about my car, saying how fantastic it was, asking about the engine and performance and economy and handling, all the typical bloke things and really enthusiastic with it.... he then said he was going to try and pursuade his girlfriend to buy herself one!

I've had a lot of positive feedback from people and when I show them Blue & Me and all the technology it blows them away! I've had the odd comment from people saying "It's a girls car" but they're usually people who have no clue about what a 'car' actually is, in there eyes its a 1.2 Corsa with chav lights and a big daft exhaust

All in all though, its been a fantastic experience, people tend to smile when they see it which is good, not in an egotistical way, its just nice to have something that looks cool, but has so much more underneath

I bat for the other team and my 500 Sport is 'seemingly butch' black with lots of chrome and white stripe. So I think I better sit on the fence regarding the title!!

I don't think it's too girly, not even in white! I think it's cute, but not overly girly..

Although having said that I did have a girl run up to me at the petrol station earlier asking to have a look around the car because she said it was 'lovely'! Her boyfriend in his PT Cruiser didn't look too impressed...
