Is it easy to instal a new cigarette lighter..

I'd like to instal a replacement cigarette lighter just for mobile phone charging on the move as I don't smoke.
Not sure why the original would have been removed,but will a new one be a DIY job?
Cant picture what the unit looks like.

yes, if you take out the inside bit of the ashtray you should be able to see what you need to do. there is a white plug that you can disconnect from the back of the unit.
