Technical iPod to usb

hi there. I have an old iPod lying around and wondered if it would, after being repaired with new battery, connect to the usb port on my fiat. The screen on the infotainment unit thing is broken so if works would be a good workaround.

I have a TwinAir from 2015 with the original radio (including bluetooth) and indeed can use my iPod Classic with the USB plug by the cup holder in front of the shifter.
I just have to switch the input with Audio to the iPod and it works.

It’s might work, if it’s a later 2012 Punto with blue and me 2 then it should just be a case of plugging it in, but if it’s an older Punto with the first gen blue and me system then you need a special adaptor for an iPod to connect with the fiat system.
