Ok, so i have been waiting for a CD changer to come up for ages, recently fitted one to dad's stilo and quite impressed BUT before i go through with buying one for my stilo.... anyone got any thoughts on ipod connections?

Reason to question is that changer combo n insert are going to knock a big hole in 100GBP, no major drama, but I also want a new ipod AND it would offer far more music selection than a CD changer.

I have spent AGES searching this forum for stilo ipod compatibility info, unfortunately most of it is somewhat out of date and i cannot find a Dension system available for sale anywhere.

I have found this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FIAT-GRANDE-PUNTO-500-PANDA-IPOD-CONNECTION-KIT_W0QQitemZ270482008217QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ef9fbe899

Any thoughts or suggestions??

After looking at the ebay item just make sure that your factory head unit is not a Visteon as it wont work, and I want to connect my iphone and it seems the only way with a visteon unit is to replace it with one compatible from Halfords.

I use my iPhone in my Stilo just by using one of the cables from the cigrette lighter into the iPhone with a radio transmitter. Sound quality is great and it was only £45.

If you are interested mine was made by Belkin.
