lol., i dont know anything about all that cache setting stuff, even if i knew how to check them i wouldnt know if there right or not.,lol., and as for the firefow thing, i like to stick to what i know rather than have to figure stuff out again.,lol

Make sure Internet Explorer is 'Online':

File > Work Online

Clear your cache as everyone has previously stated:

Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files

Make sure Delete all Offline Content is also selected before you press 'OK'

While your at it, Do your Cookies. You will have to re-enter all user names and passwords again but at least hte cookies will be freshly baked.

Also, Don't listen to the IE haters, IE users are l33t!

Download a program called CCleaner (formerly known as Crap Cleaner) you can set this up to run at start up and it will run a quick clean of all crap from ur system. Cookies, caches, temp files, recycle bin etc....this may solve your problem as there will be no cache to load from:D

As for needing to learn new stuff for firefox.......its a more efficient browser thats simpler to use. Firefox FTW! Plus you can delete ur cookies daily and passwords are still remembered using a password manager. its the win.

just downloaded that opera explorer custard was talking about. its awesome. there is awidget that monitors browser security its unbelivable how many security holes there are in firefox and IE

I used to use Opera quite a lot until it became too much of an inconvenience with many functions/features not supported. Therefore Firefox is still my preference.

I got it sorted in the end, got my bro in law to do it for me,.,lol,. hes one one them types with the glasses and the pale skin., ya know them bill gates lookin ones.,:D

There is just as many in Opera they are just different than the ones in IE and Firefox. There is no perfect browser (security wise) that runs on windows. And im sorry but opera is NOT more secure than Firefox especially with some of the plugins and enhancements that you can get.

If your relying on browser security its already too late anyway  :D.

opera's security claims come from the fact that it is used less, so there are fewer attacks, but it still has the same number and type of vulnerabilities that any browser does, just less people trying to exploit them. on the other hand IE is the most secure browser in terms of vulnerabilites because a lot of time and money goes into identify and fixing vulnerabilities, but there are many millions more attempts to exploit those vulnerabilities so it only takes one and you have a problem.

no matter which browser you use, keep it up to date.
