I'm after some wiring info about the mood lights that exist in some models interior light cluster - small red LED down-lighters within the roof mounted courtesy light array. I have an Alfa Mito which does not have the mood lights (some do) however I have sourced an interior light array that does have them (from a Fiat Pinto, but physically identical to the Alfa unit). This unit has an extra connection for the power supply to power the mood lights. I was wondering if someone who has mood lights could please be kind enough and have a look at the power lead attached to this connection and tell me where it comes from. I am assuming that it is a fly lead from the volumetric alarm sensor as this has two unused connections on it and does have a 12v supply that is ignition switched.
Any pictures and part numbers of where the supply comes from would be much appreciated as I would prefer to used an original power cable rather than break into another supply and run extra power leads from somewhere else.

See the attached pics

I've drawn a blank at Alfa & Fiat parts departments as they seem to require valid chassis or registration number from a car that has the lights fitted as standard.....
