Out of interest, do you have to take your full test again in a manual?

Yeah I do (n)

I just looked as a guide at next years prices, to be fair anything under 2 grand i'd be happy with!

If you pass the Manual UK test, you can get in a Manual or auto car and drive

if you pass in an AUTO car, you are restricted to an Auto Cars till you "pass" a Manual car test

Which isn't going to be hard, since passing an Auto test, you have road awarenesss (hopefully) and control of a car

Adding a clutch in after a little practive will give you much better control - esp in the snow :)

Comment about the snow isn't nessecarily true!

Also have loads of bad habits having driven before taking your test again!

I am 19 and own an 1.4 8v Punto evo GP with insurance costing about £2350 with aviva. I am lucky to have my retired dad as a named driver and even then, that quote was a one off compared to a lot of other quotes around the £4000 mark.
