Just wondering if anyone has had this message in there fiat stilo??

Ive checked the oil levels and thats fine. It's literally as I stop, for example lights go red and you have to stop sharpish the engine then cuts out and the messages flashes up. It feels like the battery is loses power but I'm not that great with cars.

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Well i think your issue is the engine that cuts out...offcourse if the engine cuts out you will get a message like that...engine is not running so no oil pressure! Cant see battery being at fault...does car start ok?

It usually starts fine but when I turn it over sometimes it starts and then the lights dim and it cuts out but that rare when I give it some revs it's fine

Well something is no right if engine cuts out randomly or after a sharp brake stop...
I suggest like i always do to get hold of a vag cable and a free version of ecu scan so you can read your ecu error codes and see whats wrong...is car up to date with services?

My car often fires up this message when I start it, its just a hicup in the system I believe.
More worrying is the car cutting out...I'd get to the bottom of that as a priority

Is it expensive to have the throttle cleaned?? And the last service was 2008 but I only bought the car 2weeks ago shouldn't the garage I bought it from have done a service ??

The throttle part, I have no idea about but European used car dealers are real sharks. The normally clean the car and as long as the MOT is still valid they do nothing else unless you ask for it before money changes hands. I learnt that seriously when I bought my Stilo for a top dealer in Austria. Luckily for me a friend who is a mechanic had to meet me and it just happened that I told me to meet me at the dealer.
He looked everything over and the dealer had to agree to an extra €700 repair bill on their cost otherwise I would not have paid a cent.
In South Africa with a reputable dealer, everything is done before the car is put on the forecourt...eg stone chips resprayed, seats repaired, full valet and full service.
Did the dealer give you a warranty? If not check your sales contract about what you can claim in what certain time frame.
If no luck there, you outta luck but there are some real experts here who will be happy to help out with recommendations, advice or repairs.

throttle cleaning isnt on any service schedule that ive ever heard of... If the last service was 2008 then its well overdue all the filters and fluids changing it wouldnt take much more to get e throttle done whilst your there. Have you thought about doing it all yourself?

This happened to me, and got worse until my car wouldnt start at all and just kept turning over and over; turned out to be headgasket. I put a new engine in it in the end. The problem came from the previous owner never having put anti freeze in the engine! Hopefully your problem is less severe, but if gets worse then bear it in mind!

And it was 2 weeks into owning the car! I have always serviced my vehicles annually, so should have known better than to buy a car without a FSH really. Good luck anyway (y)

Thanks for all the advice I'm taking it back to the garage I purchased it from hopefully there mechanics can get to the bottom of the issue. And its not getting worse or better somedays there's plenty of issues somedays there's none very strange
