For the ignition supply to the red wire on your HU use the positive wire to the cigarette lighter this is only supplied with ignition on (fit a 5 amp inline fuse)
Note this should be on connector pin 2 to cigarette lighter.
(Don`t use positive feed to Cigarette lighter Light this is fed through body computor,this should be on pin 1 to lighter )
Doing this and connecting Yellow & Black wires as I have stated in previous post will ensure that your HU is not sensed when you turn ignition on "CHECKING"
Try it, push the Fag lighter in & turn the ignition on it is not a fault obviously so "CHECKING" completes ok
The red ignition wire to your head unit does not draw much current, Far less than lighter so there is no problem in doing this !
