Technical Inlet Manifold

Hi new to the forum, i need to replace an inlet manifold on a Fiat 500 1200cc 2009, looking at the 1.4 inlet manifold it looks the same, my question is are they interchangeable or are the volumes or anything else different , thanks.

Can you check the fiat part numbers for both engines?
If the part numbers are the same then they are the same part.

Eper on forum is the fiat parts catalogue.
Takes a bit of getting used too but very useful

The 1.2 engined cars outnumbered then 1.4s probably 20 to 1
Not sure why you'd even look to get one from the 1.4 engine

That being said I think the 1.2 and 1.4 fire engines share the same basic block? But not 100" on this

That being said I think the 1.2 and 1.4 fire engines share the same basic block? But not 100" on this

seen more 1400s than 1200s and seem to be cheaper to buy, have to check part numbers like jackwoo suggested

Thanks will give it a go, there's a 1400cc one 2017 and that looks identical to the one I have, will try get the part numbers

Are you looking at the arbarth modles?

As I'm sure the 1.4 on the normal 500s was only for a few years and got replaced by the twin aire engines


But maybe I'm getting mixed up?

How do you use the Eper for a Fiat 500 (2007-) when the catalogue of parts only goes up to 2005?

I have been looking everywhere for a parts catalogue (with pictures) for the 2007-2008 500 so that I can check part numbers and I still can’t find one.

As I'm absolutely sure then 1.4 fire engine wasnt available post Facelift 2015 so if be surprised if there was a 2017 with the 1.4 engine other then the they in the arbarth
