Had the old girl (52 1.6) in for 3rd service and first MOT on Friday.

Saturday, driving to aberdeen all jerky and engine fault light. Used 1/4 of a tank of petrol more than this trip normally uses!

Garage phoned today, need injector No.4 Replaced, £179.00!!!!

Asked if they can replace it under warranty but haven't heard back, only got 2 days of warranty left AGGGHHHHH

I knew I should have bought that Vectra!

any one else had injector problems?

if this one has gone are the other 3 likely to fail?

Best get garage to check it is the injector as examiner brings up injector fault code(s) when it is infact the coil(s).Garage will take few minutes to subsitute a coil to be sure this is the fault.

yup normally is the coil...

all for of my 'injectors' went on my stilo, replaced them all, THEN realised it was the coils and had to replace them too.

Injectors and coils are covered under warranty.
