Technical injector coding

Hello just had new injectors fitted but having a few issues so check the injector codes against the ones on the ECU with Multiscan and the garage says they recoded them but it hasn't worked

my question is

Multiscan only gives the option of entering 7 Digits but the new injector codes are
8 Digits long i at a loss to what to do tried searching the internet to no avail
