Morning folk, I have recently put new plugs and leads in my car and noticing that it is sluggish to move sometimes, now the coil pack is the same one when I bought the car, does the 2017 model panda pop have fuel injection as I'm thinking of adding some to see if it makes a difference.

Your advice will greatly be appreciated.

I have found cleaning the vvt solenoid makes a performance difference that is noticable. I will do a guide to this easy job and post it.

I do think use of a good quality fuel additive is worth doing after big problems with a VW golf and advice from the leading independant VW man in our county. He had been 60 years in the trade. Some of these 1.2 engines have a rather large flat spot built in by the ECU. We have a 2014 car that really needs to be given a boot full to get it moving and more revs than you might like. The newer ones do seem better. The VVT solenoid is the little cylindrical thing that sticks out of the cam cover. Its held in by one allen hex bolt and pulls out with just a little leverage from a small screw driver after the wire is unplugged. A spray with carb cleaner and drying seems to do the job. I then oil with engine oil and allow it to drain, before refitting. There are strained around its edge that seem to need to be kept very clean for best performance.

Italian car have always been renowned fro needing to be revved higher than average, and often for teh singing engine notes resulting. I never feel giving ours more revs is harmful. The vvt system needs revs to develop the engines power and its only above 3500 that it starts to deliver. I think a lot of these cars are never given the beans and hence the vvt solenoid may have done little work resulting in its becoming tardy.

Tankful of Vpower and an Italian tune-up?
There is no doubt even though Pandas will run on E10 they go a whole lot better on E5 and use less fuel while doing so. V power is a well proven product now so I agree completely
