Got home tonight, took key out of ignition, opened car door and the green indicator lights on the dash started flashing really quickly for about 30 seconds and then stopped. Anyone help?

Did you accidentally hit the lock button on the key with the door open? that causes the hazards to flash for a while
Ah quite possibly as was talking to my toddler at the time, although they flashed really quickly which I've not seen before. Although I have to say I've not looked inside the car normally when locking it so perhaps they do flash really quickly. Will check tomorrow when I lock the car to see if it does it. Thanks 
No problem, they only flash at that quicker rate if you try it with the door open not when locking up generally, worried me when I 1st saw it on m Punto I thought it was having a fit.

By the way the milage was flashing the other day and the same time the belt warning craziness remained silent..... but I solved the problem. Like with the computers. A restart
