Technical Sigh. Warning lights flashing on right when I indicate.

SWEARING AND ANGRY NOISES. Bubbles made mummy cry in screwfix carpark.

so, just got home from screwfix. Exhausted. Yest spent two hours trying to unscrew the p trap under bath as the leaking had become unignorable. Today I have spent 4 hours wedged between the toilet and bath, sawing off a stoopid p trap and waste. It was the only way I could get em off. So I was about to finish...I had the wrong beeping trap, turns out there are two types of compression fittings. So that's cool.

Anyway, on the way to screwfix I realised two of the lights on the right flash when I indicate. I remember seeing a video on it about a month ago, going, well, lucky I don't have that. Thanks universe for manifesting that, and not the lakeview house from omaze.

So, is it ok to ignore it. Will it get worse and make other things go wrong?

Is it something I can fix?

Thankfully its not any other wiring causing this its a known internal fault of the speedo unit! can be fixed by a)( repair or b )replacement! id get your one repaired as any used replacement unit has the potential to fail in the future! a repaired unit is normally warrantied !
bit of a faff to remove but! plenty of guides out there cost 120 to 250 quid depending on who you use( google fiat 500 speedo repairs) loads of people online make sure you get a written warranty!

I dont believe its known to lead to further problems, just annoying! not sure about the mot situation but sure someone else will chip in soon! hopefully you can leave it till things improve a bit financially.

It's just an annoyance..

My punto does similar,

It's supposedly caused by the PCB getting damp,

Mine glows the Airbag lights.. But the factory battery lasted 12 years.. So no obvious problem

I’ve had this problem for what feels like ages on our 2010 500c. It’s never caused an issue with the MoT, so I’ve just ignored it.

happens so often i have always though its a shame fiat cant link it to the stereo system so the music changes with the flashing! that would be a PROPER disco now eh!
