This rings a bell... if I'm not imagining it, the Younger Mrs S's Titch had a similar problem one time.

Remove the rear indicator bulb one side at a time and see whether that makes a difference. I think it was a bad earth or the bulb had some corrosion on the base, causing a short. While you're there.. fit new indicator bulbs since Titch failed an MOT once for "not orange enough" bulbs.

If the rear bulbs look immaculate, do the same with the side repeater bulbs. Thr front bulbs are the least likely to be shorting.. but you can have a look there too, if you get that far.

Otherwise, the relay may be knacked. I can't remember where it is (I think it's one of those under the bonnet).
