What I thought was a simple bulb change has turned out not to be so simple.
My front indicator bulb isn't working. My first thought was a blown bulb but when removing the bulb I've noticed it's not blown.
I have checked fuses and all seem to be ok. Is there something I'm missing?

All the other indicators are working and when indicate the way with the one that isn't working the rear flashes quicker.

it will do as there isn't 3 bulbs on the circuit there is only 2

Do you have a multi-meter?
IF so
Pin 1 is black is an earth
The indicators according to this wiring diagram i have (2003 mk2 8v) the indicator comes in via pin 3 (pink)

Do you get a pulsing 12v feed?

As there is little testing to be done really except
Ensuring the Light cluster is able to take power to bulb via cluster wiring and to earth it

The cars wiring to earth should be fine as the other lights work (assuming) on that 1 front cluster

So its going to be
A - Broken wire from the Multifunction control unit to the light cluster
B - A light cluster wiring fault / connection fault
C - A blown bulb again
D - A Multi function control unit failure

I vote A or B
