Technical in need of help

ive just purchased my mk1 the previous owner has seemed to have cut the rear speaker cables any idea on where they run under and how to replace them ?

yea speakers are still there along with sum of the wiring for them

if they are factory fit then follow the loom back and use the tracer colours on the cables to identify speaker cabling
i think your problem is that theres a rear loom down both sills on this car so might take a little time to sort

how do i remove the sill's my mk1 is only a 3 door model so where does the wiring go from the back seat to the speakers

it must go through the rear seat side panel cards
if you look you will find they are held in with clips and philips screws at the back
i would have thought if you put the back seat down and had a good search you will find the chopped wires as its possible they were chopped here to extend the cabling for parcel shelf speakers in the past
