still finding the clutch a bit fragile in feel, but I seem to have found an improvement... by lowering the drivers seat. Presumably this makes the pedal action more direct (in angle), but it seems to work! The lowest seat height setting is actually fine for driving too, and I'm only 5' 9".

Can anyone else see if this works for them?

Hi Pondweed

I'll give it a go tomorrow, see if it improves my clutch judder

A while ago a wee old geezer came to me cos he couldn't change gear on a Bedford minibus. It had been ok before he'd put it in for a service, but now every gear crunched.

It just needed the seat moved forward. The mechanic wasn't as small as him and had to move the seat back to get in.

Dunno what to think...:confused::bang:

My clutch action feels a lot smoother (pulling away from standstill) since I stuck some Redex fuel system cleaner in my tank yesterday.
If the engine's running smoother at low revs (which it definately is, and everywhere else for that matter), then I guess that affects how smooth the pullaway feels too.
Worth doing even if your clutch feels OK.
£13~ish for 8 full tanks worth of treatment from Halfords (or £10.40 if you have a Trade Card).
