General imobiliser problems on ducato van

Hi
i would appreciate any advice, i have a Fiat Ducato 53 plate 2.0 HDI, its immobiliser is stuck on! can this be bypassed if not is there any other option to rectify this?

try to get key transponder recoded?

when this happened on the forum bus it was because the fuel cut of had kicked in, pressing the reset button fixed it

on the ff bus it was near the battery, not sure if its in the same place on the newer ones. should say in the handbook
