Immobiliser help!

[Phi Qubo]

Hello everyone. I have a 2011 Qubo 1.3mj.

Immobiliser light comes on with ignition and no start on key turn. Changed key battery with no luck, I don't have a 2nd key .

Any advice or tricks to try? Would rather not have to get a new key made and coded.

I read somewhere some Fiats have issue with grounding cable or something?

I take it this is a remote key, open the key look at the narrow end of the printed circuit board,
if there's a oblong black component have a close look at the connections for cracks in the solder,
try gently pushing the connections towards the component see if it works, if so it needs re-soldering
a job best left to someone that is good with a iron.

Worth running a jump lead from battery negative to engine metal.. try again

Then link battery neg. To bodywork bolt.. try again

If no luck a locksmith can probably check your chip.. and get CODE from ECU via the OBD port
