I had a Seat Arosa 1.4TDI for a couple of years and it was great on I'd sorted the suspension (Arosas and Lupos have really crap handling in standard form) Mine went to TSR in Bridgewater for a set of Koni adjustable shocks and was like a little go kart after :) You can get a TDI for around £2000 and there a fun grunty little car and really solid. Alternatively you can find new Panda's for well under 3 grand now and with some tasteful mods they're a lot of fun :)

maybe i under estimated the 4 ton, some where on the net it tell you exactly how much force there is in a 2 ton car traveling at 80 mph

im pretty sure where as rally cars and such like might not have a head on with another car .. the cages they use WILL be tested far beyond these limits .. its what FIA does after all.

and anyway look at stats for surviving a head on or side impact .. the gods have to be looking down on you i dont care what car your in. :)

well done :)

Thankyou :D

Now, go out and buy the bloody car. :p

haha. :p I cant buy it yet.. need to save up(y)

Thanks, Im not going to go higher than a 1.4. I think ill be getting a 1.2. And thanks for the info about suspension/handling. hmm but TDI's are a deisel arent they? and i think ill still with the petrol for now.:p

Nah, pandas are too big for me. I like little 3doors:rolleyes:

I know safety devices dont make cages for cinqs, but im sure OMP and Sparco will do simmilar.

Tah for the link brooky(y)i had a quick look.:p

And Im pretty sure that theres always going to be worry about any car having an impact. no car is industructable.. and its one of those things people have very different opinions on.
