Technical ignition fault on cylinder two help!!!!!

I have recently had the annoying engine fault beeping at me so i took it into my local garage where they put it on their computer and found i had and ignition fault on cylinder 2 they also found i need an O2 sensor could these be connected and is it hard work to change an O2 sensor DIY style as i lost my job and have no money.

Proabaly a coil on the way out. I'd change one thing at a time and see if a new coil fixes it...

stupid question where is the coil in question i am used to a stripped down mk2 escort engin bay not really played with a computer run car

The coils are on top of each plug. Remove the engine cover, and remove the faulty coil by unclipping the cord attached (low voltage). Unbolt the one bolt that secures it to the engine top (I mean). Pull it straight up.
