500 Idle problem

Hi hope someone can help.My Fiat motor has just been overhauled and a new carb.In the beginning it run pretty well and 2 weeks later it stop idling and dies on me when i engage the clutch.i replaced the plugs then readjust the points and timing but still.....When riding its perfect...Help:worship:

Sounds like a blocked idle jet or the adjustment has moved. Do ti do it suddenly (blocked jet) or slowly get worse (adjustment)?

You did put a fuel filter in line ? Or air leaking in?

Yes new filter and carb

If it will idle by turning the throttle stop screw if fitted or by just opening the throttle then it's a reasonable bet the idle jet is blocked as above has suggested?

Sounds like a blocked idle jet or the adjustment has moved. Do ti do it suddenly (blocked jet) or slowly get worse (adjustment)?
