Hi guys, been a while since I've been on this forum but gotta come back to the centos one day!! Haha just a general enquirey been looking at getting a cinq or Sei again for a while now, I've had many cars since my first Sei which I 1.2 16v and nothing compares! I've had a punto gt 106 gti Audi a1 and nothing's comes close to being as much fun as these little cars! I was looking into getting a spares and repairs car and putting a bigger engine brakes and coil overs on it, just wanted to see how far everyone has gone with these, I'm sure people have done 1.4 16v 6 speed but anyone tries 1.6 16v from stilo? Do they fit? Any guides on the 1.4?

Okay maybe a better question... Do the mk2 puntos have the same mounting points as the mk1?

Yes there are some very good threads on the 1.4 16v conversion. just search the forum and you'll be reading for weeks!

The later mk2 punto engines will bolt in, but in a nut shell they are more work than fitting a mk 1

I'm wanting to do something a little different maybe 1.6 16v or the 1.8 HGT more work keeps me busy! Don't want to be getting bored but that's basically answered my question!

If you more outside the FIRE engine, then there isn't a need to stay with fiat engines!
