Yep, they do have 8 year anti-corrosion but is it Galvanised? To quote the Aftercare book:-
"First of all the whole bodyshell is chemically treated before vulnerable areas are sprayed with anti-stone chip paint. After sealing all the welded joints and applying PVC underseal to the underfloor sections, the bodyshell is completely submerged in a tank of cathodic electro-primer. The high gloss top coat is then baked on and special anti-corrosion wax is injected into all the box sections."
Isn't the "cathodic electro-primer" the galvanising agent?

They are 'galvanised' so to speak, they use a zinc phosphate coating rather than the hot dip or electro plating zinc coating you'd usually expect from galvanising. Reason being its a whore to paint over normal galvanising.
The electro primer just helps it stick better to the bodyshell.

8yrs sounds about right to me...
Uk hot dip Galvanising is to BS729 (or whatever the new euronorm is) which carries a minimum 10year (usually 15yrs)guarante...

I tell you one thing though, this guy seems to be talking out of his arse because he says the car has twin airbags but if you look at the picture of his interior you can tell he doesn't have a passenger airbag only the big scoop on the dash, sounds a bit dubious to me.
