Just my (therefore selfish) opinion but what I would like from this forum is pretty much what we used to have:
A single point of reference for barchetta related discussion and advice, with stickies for threads which need them. That's pretty much it.
What I don't want is that point of reference subdivided into separate areas, some of which need separate registration, and cluttered up by side bars, ebay links, members motors pictures etc. I can find all of those items myself. I also don't see the point in having to prefix new threads to explain if they are General, Technical, Styling or Tuning since the thread title or contents will make that clear. Does anyone pay any attention to that anyway?
The barchetta social group - which I haven't joined - appears to contain threads which should be on the main barchetta forum so it's either confusing people or not being moderated efficiently.
And finally, while I'm on a roll, it's all very well being slightly dictatorial in moderating style (as is sometimes the case) but don't forget we are your 'customers'. One extremely valuable member of this forum has left, apparently because of the way he was treated by moderators, and contributions from some other high profile members appear to have reduced since then. That is a shame as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the fact that 'us b lot' - as we have been called by a mod - are not that interested in the fact that someone spotted a yellow Punto on the A452. Perhaps that doesn't suit the Fiat Forum way, but that's how it is I'm afraid.
