I need to set up new RCL/Alarm key? Any one know?

Hi all, i have managed to get my hands on a new key that will start the car but i am yet to install it into the reciever by the interior light so that it operates the RCL/alarm. I have the red key with the code and i know that this is the correct code as fiat have used it before. Does anyone know the process i have to go through,i think the small button on the reciever unit is involved but i need some step by step instructions, I have tried the search function but with no luck and it is not in the repair guide. cheers
