Believe they're spot on the same length.

It's not the physical size of the car per sae, though I seldom have many passengers with me. It's more engine size and the associated running costs that are getting me just now. Need a smaller car. Cheaper on fuel, tax and insurance.

How much difference in length is there between the the Vec & a Marea Estate??

As Martyn says, they're basically the same length. The Marea's marginally thinner, but you're talking about an inch or two. Not sure on the differences in terms of load capacity, practical use of space on the interior and the like though.

So basically the Marea Estate is the Fiat version of the Vauxhall Vec estate then?!?!
So you're looking ideally for somthing like a Punto for engine size....

Well, technically they're different classes of car as in theory the Marea and it's estate form would be one class down from the Vectra since it's in the Bravo/Brava family. The Astra Saloon and Estate would then probably be the direct rivals to the Marea but the amount of lengthening they did with the Fiat's body probably meant it appealed to those looking for an Astra and Vectra sized car.

Cheers mate.

I'm guessing folk on Gumtree don't need to sell their cars. Emailed at least 4-5 folk asking for pics or more information, not one has gotten back to me. Usually I email at work, where I don't have time/change to call, hence the reason for emailing.

Never mind. Might go have another look at that Bravo :)
