OMG.... I just took a pic of that pipe coz it was in the vent when i pulled it out and i did not see where it went to!!!!!
Well thats answered my question.....(y)(y)

kev

pipe is not really important, it's only to make sure that water is going to vent pipe, if there is no pipe water is going on you wires/battery/jack...
only important to make sure that that small hole under windscreen seal is not blocked...

Why would he think his phone was under your seat? :chin: .......... .......... .......... :yuck: :D

Good pics Jon but you'll need to blank out the sunroof......Its like driving in daylight ain't it, even inside the car.

Yes very bright. Got some blacking stuff to put on the sunroof. Was going to do today, but got up to late and it was too cold :p . They make good interior lights though!

Who else was it who once put some on and had the sunroof problem. Wasn't you was it Alan? Just I remember someone had. I tried to mount infront of the sunroof, but the shape of the car wouldn't allow :(

it even creates their own rainbow:D

Id that home fabricated or did you buy it? I want one!!

Lol.

Bit of both. A propper bar, and some spots from halfrauds.

Here is the bar (y) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7988691115 A bit pricey but I had a free P+P paypal voucher to use so hey ho, and I couldn't be bothered to make one. lol.

I just used insulating tape as a quick fix.

So he comes back and adjusts the clutch, so what is likly to have caused it to need adjusting? I know the clutch was done about 4000-5000 miles ago, just before I brought the Sisley.

The cable may well have stretched a little with use, especially if it was renewed as the same time as the clutch.

I'll be keeping my out for one. Im just put off by the fact it could get seriously damaged if i get vandalised again :(

I was worried about the lights being ripped off, nice to know they are sturdy though!

Yes, I know what you know Craig, I was thinking the same as the car is parked in some rough places in Norwich at times  (time will tell).

I feared them flying off when offroading at first even though they're really secure :p

Ok....my two pennies worth..
The rubber boot at the bottom of the gearstick UNDER the car might be worth a look.
I have just bought a new one for the sisley as mine had a big split in it.

When i pulled the gearstick gater rubber off i could see the road...
Big hole for water to get in???? I'm not too sure....just an idea

Did you have to go to a main dealer for the gaiter? I have none left at all now, just assumed they weren't available anymore.... how much is it?

cheers,
Mike

Some pictures....

Bingo. That is indeed the problem as I've now found out, and I think I've made it worse :bang:

Let me start with a little Video (check the voice out :ROFLMAO: )

So during the week, I have an eppic afternoon trying to sort it out. Remove battery, and then bulkhead insulation. Find the Pipe and go hmmmm , wiggle wiggle wiggle, and it comes out in my hand

Right I thinks. Hmmmmm, looks a bit burnt at the end

Well now I can't get the bloody thing back in :bang: so I'm wondering if there are any idea's (bar removing the windscreen)

Also, I've worked out how the water was getting in, and it must have been trickling along the wire in this pic (which has me confused) into the car behind the dash.

Any idea's please?

Jon.
