Technical i have seen an exhaust i like but can't find it anywhere

not a great description i know but if anyone can help me it's you guys and gals

i saw a lovely red cinq sporting a while back with a shiny box at the back (that you could see under the bumper) as well as the exhaust pipe

anyone got any ideas who makes these and where i could get one

it looked lush

yeah that could be it (although i'm pretty sure you could see more of the box under the bumper on the car i saw)

so it's most likely a magnex one but i have looked on their site in the past and not seen anything like it

does this kind of thing have a specific name (the only other exhaust i have had that looked anything like that was on my old fiat 126)

By the sounds of it they have had it custom made by somebody like powerflow. I've been told the latest thing in lincoln is to have the back box put alongside the bumper and polish the box up so its real shiny. Will cost a bit but sure powerflow could do it

Having looked at the picture your talking about & having a Magnex sitting in my hall, I can confirm it looks like that one but with one exit, take a closer look at the picture of the Yellow Cinq. When I first got the exhaust I thought there was something wrong with it, as the short but nice 3.5inch tail pipe is set at a 90degree angle to the back box, where as the standard box if you look under the car is set at more like a 45degree angle some distance back from the bumper.

The eBay deal is good as this is where I got mine from, Magnex are discontinuing the Cinq box and as such are selling them off. I got mine next day delivery and can confirm the box is very shiny, mite even polish it up a bit more with the old Braso before fitting it this weekend

I'll def get some pics up, I keep meaning to, just never get round to it, mite even stick some up of the 'grale, tho has to be said I havn't actually cleaned it since the Auto Italia day at Brooklands which was 4 weeks ago???? & it was p-in-it down that day and I've not had it out much since seeing as it's getting to cold n wet for it to venture out

i just got a bargain magnex back box from ebay, we'll wait and see what it looks like when it gets here

lol, so long as the standard kit isnt welded on its pretty straight forward if the standard is welded on, take it to a garage not worth the hassle of trying to get it off yourself lol

Don't quote me on this ,but that exaust looks just like the one I had on my X/19.That was made by London Stainless,& called "Quicksilver".I might be completely wrong,but it looks very similar.

my magnex exhaust came the other day and was indeed the one i was hoping for. It's lovely and shiny and looks fairly similar to the one i saw.

i told my girlfriend i'd wait until the standard one falls off before i fit it though
(she would have moaned at me for buying it more if i hadn't) so no pics of it on the car for a while

strut brace on the way and then an induction kit

it's all starting to come together

it is nice when your ride starts comin together...

i cant wait till i got my 14's on and can afford the suspension i want!

Don't Rule out it might be custom made - i am Making myself a system at the min at work (Stainless Steel Welder/ Fabricator).. Alot of lunch times, free material save sum dosh!..
