I Have A Confession To Make

I am now feeling very sorry for Mark  everyone thought we were mad when we got our multipla 9 years ago, but we still love it and don't care what anyone else thinks.

plus it's for your wife not you. Perhaps you had better not 'fess up next time ;)

You know that I am new on here - well I said to you that I was going for a test drive (to please my friends) I test drove along with all my family to see if we all fit in my new small car - my husband said that the mini was OK however he wasnt impressed with the ride, and also I have to tell you that last year my friend bought a mini she cries whenever she thinks about this, as soon as something started to go wrong some of the parts went rusty and they accused her of parking under something metal! the people at the dealership,
were really horrible but she was told at the sale time - 'Madam you are buying a BMW' we will be excellent at aftersales - and they weren't - Just thought I would tell you the truth.- Im not slating anyone by the way just being honest.
But could your wife not put up with the little margin of smallness?!

parking under somthing metal hows that matter?

i park occationally at work
the roof is coated in grinding dust
the floor is grinding dust
the walls there is metal covered in grinding dust

LOL.

This thread is somehow a reflection of a conversation in our house last weekend. Because I'm a total petrol head I do like to look at other cars from time to time.

I happened to mention to my partner that I thought the MINI Clubman, in Chocolate Metallic, with Chocolate interior and silver accents looked quite good.

I honestly thought that my bags were going to be packed and I never thought such foul mouthed language would ever be produced from such a small stature! LOL

Lets just say the MINI, in all its guises, produces more comment and opinion than a Rolf Harris painting of HM The Queen.

Good luck in your decision Mark, but perhaps keep the final decision to yourself ;)

No, far worse than that... youll not get it out of me, IF I do get rid it wont be another Fiat as Ive been offered a much bigger part ex price elsewhere. I dont really want rid but I know Ill never see my car the same again after two bumps.

Well Mark, it is a shame that you have no taste :p but at least we can be thankful that is itsnt this crock::

Civic has poor depreciation too, as it has a bad reputation Mark... youll hate it as paint is very soft and chips very easily.
Whats wrong with the Golf Estate, its easily the best of your bunch and holds money well and fairly rare in the UK.
