I have a 4ch amp. Bridged two channels on Low pass to run my 10in sub. The other two (high pass) were supposed to be for the front comps. The arse end speakers are not amped, just there for rear fill.
Anyway, I ran a pair of speaker wires up front from the amp, cut off the feed from the head unit to the front speakers and used the signal from the amp instead.
The idea was to use the car's original wiring to prevent drilling a new hole in the doors. However, there is no sound up front from the amp, but the speakers work fine when I run off the head unit.
How have you guys managed to amp your front speakers. The same thing happened with my cav. I'm baffled.
