32mm was the size on my 1997 1.8 Bravo, 1999 1.9D Brava and 2001 1.2 Bravo.

Scroll down to wheel bearing replacement as it also mentions 32mm...http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/fix-a-bravo.htm#brakes

Now if yours is different to 32mm, you'll have to try different sizes to see what fits! :)

Its 36 mm, but you will have to trim the edge so that the wall of the socket from the beginning to cca 10 mm to the end of the socket becomes thinner. I mean grind the outer wall so the socket gets a light conical shape from the middle to the front - because the standard socket is too thick to fit on the nut.

Cheers Sven I will try get one today... failing that would i not be able to pull the drive shaft out from the inner boot side then slip my outerboot over the top..

Sorry... the replacement outer boot i have is one of them stretch ones for a quick fix...comes with a cone that you push the boot over the cv joint...

Cheers

You can disconnect the drive shaft from the gearbox then take off all that is on the other side and slide it on, but IMO better would be to get a 36mm socket. Less work and all you need is a angle grinder and the socket ;)
