Hah people are already working on that :) though maybe a Dalvik VM would be a good idea, so these can run Android apps on the existing webOS. Same way the BB Playbook runs Android apps on RIM's OS.

Ok, having had one for half a day now I quite like WebOS, it certainly seems a bit more polished in places than Android (can't compare it to iOS as I've never used any such device). I think I'd rather have the ability to run Android apps inside webOS, or at least dual boot it, rather than wipe it out altogether.

In the meantime, getting this running for a laugh should destroy my weekend :D

Chris, probably something like "give us money, or we'll break your legs :D

arc, there is a big thread on HotUKDeals showing where any stock is, HP are meant to have a warehouse full too though I'm not so sure about that, seen as the internet said it... I ordered from Amazon at 00:01, then rang and told somewhere else and he ordered too - mine went through and his got cancelled.

The new Pre phones are apparently going to be sold off cheap too, if you were just after a webOS device.

Got the Ubuntu nonsense working (need to sort the keyboard and right click stuff). It runs quicker than on a PS3, pre Sony removing OtherOS :ROFLMAO:

Forum renders ok on the stock browser.
