Technical How to unclip a front bumper at the wing

I shot this little video when I took off a bumper the other day. This may answer how the bumper gap on a recent thread came about after a bumper was removed.

If you just yank it, you risk breaking the plastic clips that hold the bumper to the wing.

The video shows the best way to get it off without doing that.

I have learnt over time you need to remove the inner wing guards and wing bolt, then under the wing with a bright light using a flat blade screw driver ease the plastic tabs apart carefully and progressively this way it's controlled without breaking anything and all goes back together, DO NOT JUST YANK.

You don't need to take the wheel arch guard off. You can get to the torx screw by a bit of sideways pressure as you put the driver into the screw head.
