How to remove headlamp washer pump?

Does anybody know how to do this? Mine is not working - I've got hold of a new pump, but getting the old one out is proving a tad tricky!

There doesn't seem to be an obvious fastening (screw thread, clip etc). I've tried just pulling it out, but it's fitted in a recess in the screenwash reservoir and getting any kind of grip on it is pretty much impossible. Is there one of those little tricks you wish you'd known before spending hours scraping your knuckles?!

Cheers,
Rich

How about don't bother, remove all wiring and mechanics related to the headlamp washers and save yourself the weight. They look good but the function is quite pointless.

Normally they are just supported by the piece of rubber tube that feeds the water from the tank. Once they've been on a while the rubber goes hard and they are very difficult to get off. If you can get a replecement bit of rubber try cutting the old piece. Some pumps do have otehr fixings as well, i really dont know about the bravo.
