well done excellent,shame it has 81 reads and only homeward thanks you though, but guess this is now the way of the world take but dont thank:(
anyway you forgot to add when you have it plumbed in and at 14.5lbs start the engine and see if pressure increases,this will tell you if water system being pressurised by combustion gases pointing to failed head gasket

im off to thank your post now and i have a sykes pickyer nose original wind up tester from year blonk:D

Not sure if the Punto is the same, but the Stilo coolant resevoir cap has the same thread as the combined brake/clutch fluid resevoir, so you can also use it for pressure bleeding the hydraulic systems. (Making sure that there's no water droplets left in the cap of course).

I made one years ago with a metal threaded tyre valve and 2 rubber washers so no goo required.

yea i guess a pressure bleeder based on a donor cap and another valve cant hurt

Just have the spare tyre connected again at about 5 - 10psi to allow a steady flow of fluid :)

It could be easily done :) but when a £20 is out there that also means the fluid doesn't run out as easily - i'd pay the £20 instead of the £100+ for a proper coolant tester kit
