The fittings all came with the engine as the old lines had been cut at abount 6 inches. I then cut off the hose and just use 'standard mpi' 8mm fuel line with a fuel type hose clamp, not had any problems so far.
kk, i was just wondering if the fitting had a name - if i did then i'd replace the whole pipe down to the regulator.. but it doesn't.. i'll pull it apart on fri and get an o ring for it. that should stop the leak

But bottom one has got some bolt inside....so where is pressure regulator??

as that pipe on automatic connector is quite loose...so we will see what's happen when I put some fuel...if any problem I hope that there is still Punto 75 on "local" scrap yard and I'll get new pipes...

regulator is on the opposite end of fuel rail, with vacuum pipe on it.
Hi...another step in my project...
Thare are two links with my first engine start (now just in garage)
Engine was without Oxygen (Lambda) sensor fitted and without exhaust manifold.
First movie with "open" pipes so there was addition air in manifold
Second with all pipes blocked.

I'm hopefully receiving my ecu,codebox & key tomorrow. I will start wiring in straight away when it arrives and will hopefully be all up and running by the weekend
Well loom was wired in last night, turned key and nothing
ECU main twin relay box was continuously clicking (once per half second) as soon as ignition was switched on.
I think I have a problem with the codebox wiring. I am thinking a bad earth to the codebox at the moment.

Still no progress with this
Have spent the last few days with a multimeter trying to combat the problem but nothing.
Have wired up all the earth points to the batt -ve temrinal. Am defo receiving +ve voltage permanent + +ve switched at codebox so no problems with power. The main loom must also be getting power otherwise the relay will not be clicking.
Relay still clicking as post above - am going to order a new fuel twin fuel relay and go from there. Pump is not even priming on ignition and has no power at the ECU end with a multimeter on turning ignition to prime.
Relay change is all I can think of at the moment

jangcy, you are doing the same thing I did at your stage
item 4 goes to the charcole canister via a relay (mounted next to your pandas map sensor I believe)

do anybody knows if I can just block that blue pipe....Panda where I'm going to fit it doesn't have charcole canister....when I started engine in garage (without car) I just blocked it....but I now sure if it's OK for longer use...
It looks like the fuel fume evaporation pipe you get in a normal panda.
In the panda if you remove front bumper there is a box mounted there for fuel fumes or the sort. you should be able to route it to that if not i dont think there would be a problem with blocking it off.

Indeed. Looks like its part of the fuel evaporative system from the charcoal canister to the purge valve

yep, not much that has to be upgraded, you might have to fit an outboard fuel pump though instead of up grading to the punto replacement unit.
Would a 1999 1.2 16v Punto Sporting engine be any good for the conversion?

Yes, it is an ideal candidate.
They put out approx 85 bhp, maybe more if you get a good one.
Wouldn't that be a mk2 Punto? Electrics will be harder to sort out than using an engine from a mk1 Punto. Althogh I suppose you could use the engine from the mk2 and then get teh ecu etc from a mk1.
99 is still a mk1 i think, if it is a mk2 though, you can either go for a full mk2 set up, or just use the mk2 engine itself and all the mk1 ancillaries and electrics i think
